Once upon a time, a long time ago, scientific records indicate it was probably on a Wednesday, the landmasses that were to become Australia and New Zealand did not get along. They would hurl abuse at each other across the waters of the pacific taking turns to ridicule their unique flora and fauna, poke fun at their stunning geographical features and criticize their pristine waterways. It was vicious stuff. Fast forward a couple of million years and strange creatures called human beings popped up on both sides. But it was the New Zealand side that developed an unusual but necessary bridge between the two nations that still exists today. It’s called a sense of humour.
