With a knack for accents and impressions, Steph’s dream growing up was to be a voice actor. From 2013-14 she studied music theatre at Showfit, and as many theatre students did, worked as a children’s entertainer. In 2017 she went on to run her own children’s entertainment business ‘Princess Parties Melbourne’, which became one of the top rated kids party businesses in Melbourne. Steph was a contestant on the 2018 season of reality show ‘The Bachelor’, and has since gained a following on TikTok for coming out as a lesbian.
During lockdown in 2021, Steph took the opportunity to set up a makeshift booth in her cupboard and dove head first into VoiceOver. She completed VoiceOver coaching with both Andy Wells and Abbe Holmes, and started landing small roles in indie projects, before being cast as the lead female voice for Youtube series, ‘Story Time Animated’ (3 million subscribers) ’STA Studios’ (1.3 million subscribers) for over 2 years. That same year she entered the global ‘Ultimate Voiceover Survivor’ competition, finishing as a top 12 finalist in the Video Game and Animation category, with the live finals judged by the legendary Tara Strong.
In 2022, Steph signed with Scout and began landing roles in larger projects, selling her business to pursue VoiceOver full-time. She voiced ‘Tessa’ in the YouTube series ‘Murder Drones,’ which is one of the most-watched animated series on the platform, with the first episode alone racking up 64 million views. Her first major video game role was as ‘The Crazy Pickle Lady’ in ‘Choo Choo Charles’ (PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch), making her a recognisable voice amongst gamers. With her talent for voice matching, she became the voice of ‘Miraculous Ladybug’ in ‘Miraculous Life’ (Android), the English voice of ‘Maggie’ in ‘Farlight 84’ (Microsoft, G Force Now), and voiced multiple characters in Word Tag (iOS, Android), which required over 2,000 unique effort sounds, and has recently recorded her first kid’s books ‘The Monsties’ series with Bolinda Audio. With her lively and energetic voice, Steph lends her talents to various commercial radio campaigns for clients such as Kmart, Cancer Council, NOVA, Sprite, CADA… just to name a few!
Steph is also a vibrant member of the Melbourne comedy scene, having studied improv comedy and musical improv since 2021. She is the producer of musical improv troupe, ‘Les Improvisé – YOU choose the title. WE make the musical’, which has enjoyed sold out seasons across MICF, Melbourne Fringe, Midsumma, and The Defrost Festival. On top of that, she is a regular host MC, and stand up.
In early 2025, Steph launched a TikTok account where she shares a blend of VoiceOver content and her journey of coming out after her time on The Bachelor. In just three months, she gained over 60,000 followers. Now, she’s an active member of the Australian Association of Voice Actors and actively champions AI protections, education, and labelling, emphasising the need for human voices. She is a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community and lives with her girlfriend Cristina and their cats Fred and Velma.
