Eyes of Salt brings together an international cast in a bilingual, cross-border drama that blends intimate family conflict with the emotional isolation of a return to an estranged home.
Eyes of Salt, the U.S.–Australia co-production filmed on location at Sydney’s iconic Bondi Beach officially wrapped principal photography last month. The drama features an international ensemble including James Pratt (Malibu Crush), Hong Kong–based Bernice Liu, Kelly Monisse (No Strings Attached), Hong Kong actress Melody Law (Bankshot), Erin Anne Gray (Catfish Killer), Randy Charach (Vanished), Damian Nixey (Malibu Crush), Kev Hannibal (Dana’s Dream), and Mark Sturzenegger. Bounty Entertainment is handling distribution across Australia and New Zealand.
Kelly Monisse who plays Paige Ellis in the film said, “The story’s mix of intimate family drama and Isolation draws you into the story. Paige Ellis is a strong character from New York but fits into the Bondi Beach storyline, so I’m excited for audiences to experience the journey on screen.
Eyes of Salt joins a growing slate of international co-productions filming in Australia across 2025–26, including Street Fighter (Legendary Entertainment), Spaceballs 2 (Imagine Entertainment/MGM), Tom Hanks -Greyhound (Apple Original) Subversion (Amazon MGM), and The Good Samaritan (Highland Film Group).
