The term surgical precision is usually reserved for well? …surgeons, or for those people who can reverse park a trailer. Why can’t it be used for voice over talent too? And surely, it must apply to Jules Lander. Jules Lander’s version of surgical precision comes in the precise movements, inflections and change of pace she makes with her voice. An easy half-a-step slower pace over here means the words are filled with concern and compassion, a tempered heel-lift in energy over there shines a light on the all-inclusive excitement she wants you to feel and a tiny tissue’s-weight of delicate change of volume in her delivery, gives the listener a thrilling journey between emotions. Needless to say, it’s for this reason, producers rely on Jules to quickly get to an emotional point in the script, but with no awkward steps to get there. You need a sharp blade to make such adjustments and her voice is just that. So it’s easy to say Jules is at the top of her game. After years of work, she’s a superior voice in the industry. It’s not easy to have a voice acting career as long as Jules’ without the deft talent she has and the sort skill you would expect of vocal surgeons.
