THE KETTERING INCIDENT REVIEWED: DARK, BROODING AND CAPTIVATING

Tagged Artist:

With a terrific cast, a dark central mystery and an atmosphere thick with foreboding, this new Australian drama is off to an enthralling start. Things are eerie from the outset: two teenage girls ride their pushbikes through a Tasmanian forest, but only one comes out.

Anna’s return to Kettering is cautiously welcomed by her policeman father, Roy (Anthony Phelan), but not by angry logger Craig (Ben Oxenbould). She immediately becomes an object of fascination for young outsider Chloe (Sianoa Smit-McPhee), who seems to know something about the forest’s dark secrets.
