Sophie Loughran is a NIDA graduate with a broad background in musical theatre, voiceover and audiobook narration. Her voiceover journey started at Southern Cross Austereo, where she worked behind the mic (and occasionally behind a giant promotional wheel) for Fox FM and Triple M. Since then, she’s narrated over 15 fiction and non-fiction audiobooks for Bolinda Audio, including Australian favourites Dirt Town by Hayley Scrivenor, Lottie Perkins for ABC by Katrina Nannestad, and The Codebreakers by Alli Sinclair, as well as international titles such as The Shot by Naima Brown and When She Was Gone by Sara Foster. With a natural flair for tone, character and accent, Sophie brings stories to life with energy and ease.
In commercial voiceover, Sophie’s clear and versatile delivery has made her a go-to for a wide range of clients. She has voiced campaigns for Endometriosis Australia, City of Melbourne, and Queen Victoria Markets, as well as global brands like Starbucks and MARS. Whether it’s a warm, grounded narration or a vibrant, attention-grabbing promo, Sophie brings a relaxed professionalism and a sense of fun that keeps listeners engaged from start to finish.
