Bio

Isn’t it nice when a country Bed and Breakfast greets you with smooth white sheets for your first night away?

Their crisp sunshine freshness sets a tone of relaxation and seclusion.  A private note of luxury meant just for you.

Doesn’t the afternoon restaurant look a little more welcoming when a white table cloth meets you on arrival?

Any meal could arrive – I wouldn’t really care – and any meal would be heartily eaten placed upon that smooth surface.

And just like white linen, Lisa Kay’s voice is a clean, crisp palate of endless vocal opportunities.

It billows with perfect diction and a restrained turn of inflection that tells you, you are in the hands of a professional.

Lisa is country hospitality. Smooth corporate operations. Angelic calmness. Playful silliness. High end drama.

Writers, producers, audio boffins should not limit her just to “UK” reads,  because she is adept in documentary, narration, character and gaming voice performances.

If you are a student of voice and audio excellence,  you’ll know that what Lisa has, is what those projects – and your next one,  deserve.

A Professional British actress of 15+ years, Lisa has appeared in a wide range of roles on stage and in film and television.  She was a lead cast member of ITV’s HEARTBEAT (2004 – 2009) and appeared in the 2001 movie, BRIDGET JONES’S DIARY. You can check out Lisa’s IMDB profile here which also includes the animation features CHICKEN RUN & CORPSE BRIDE.  Her unique British accent and ability to also do neutral is a refreshing sound to the Brisbane and Sydney market.

We couldn’t have asked for a better voice than Lisa’s for our 4-part nature series, Coral City. Her storytelling skills elevated every episode, infusing energy and joy into the lighter moments while delivering a calm intensity during the more poignant scenes. As a director, it was an absolute pleasure to collaborate with someone so receptive to feedback and creative ideas on the fly—something not all voice artists are comfortable with. Thank you, Lisa, for soothing our souls and bringing such depth and warmth to our project.
Siddharth Nambiar, writer/director of Coral City
We had the great privilege of having Lisa narrate our 8-part series, AGELESS. The show called for a narration that brought empathy, curiosity and added production value, and Lisa brought that and so much more. Her acting skill, her timing and her ability to deliver a first class performance has exceeded all of our expectations. I could not recommend Lisa highly enough.
Grey Rogers, Executive Producer
I had the pleasure to work with Lisa Kay on the new Channel 9 series, "AGELESS", where Lisa worked as our Series narrator. We needed more than a voice over artist with a beautiful voice, we needed someone who could bring a performance imbued with whimsy, comedy, poignancy and drama. I thought it was going to be a tall order until I met and worked with Lisa Kay. She works fast, and was able to perform multiple takes with different performances; because as a professional performer, she's there to listen to direction to understand what the project needs. In a word she was a dream to work with.
