Bio

Who will narrate the paragraphs of your life. When everything is said and done, who will be the friend now remembering dearly your journey with all its unexpected twists and turns. Who will speak softly and kindly when we need to forgive or be forgiven. Who will be the first to cheer your victories that some have forgotten or be kinder to the losses. From the front of a gathered crowd or quietly to the side, this is the voice to carry all that is required. His voice will care for your secrets in a literary tone, poetic, older than his years. The story you want to tell is in no better hands than Callan McAuliffe.

Within his natural speaking voice Callan’s unique mix of Australian, English and American accents have bubbled together a wonderful stew, so he can bring to the surface whatever the vocal moment requires. And what moments he’s had already. Callan has acted, voiced, narrated, and sung his way to achieve an impressive resume of performances on Tv, in movies and on stage both here and overseas. One moment he is introspective. Asking you to consider the deeper darker issues swirling around a theme of the human condition, next he is a new voice on an old text bringing a younger version to a dusty poem or a long since shelved work of fiction. Then, a gamers guide through imagined new worlds, across a dangerous platform or down a risky worm hole to other dimensions.

If your message needs good helpings of gravitas and maturity but you don’t want to alienate the young listener by being lectured to by an old voice, you can still win over your audience with the old soul in a young man’s body that Callan’s voice registers. For example, medical announcements, bulletins or breakthroughs that affect the youthful traveller, mature older brands looking for a rebirth of their classic designs to new buyers, established financial institutions looking to gain a foothold in a new market to educate first time investors and the stories of decades old processes, retold for the taste of younger food experts.

Accompanying these notes are even more reviews and highlights of Callan’s career. Take your time to read through his impressive list of achievements and consider him for your next audio project.
