FOXTEL’S EAGERLY ANTICIPATED drama, Picnic At Hanging Rock just got that much bigger with the revelation of an Australian and international cast attached.
The new adaptation is set to start filming in Victoria later this month and will produced by FremantleMedia Australia and with production investment from Screen Australia and Film Victoria.
First up, Natalie Dormer (known from HBO’s Game of Thrones, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Parts 1 and 2, and In Darkness) who will star as English headmistress Mrs Hester Appleyard in the re-imagining of Joan Lindsay’s timeless Australian novel.
