Alexander W. Hunter is a bilingual American actor and model based in Sydney, Australia. After spending 13 years in Japan, he’s fluent in Japanese and built a successful acting career there.He’s best known for his role as David in The Benza, Benza English, and the spin-off video game The Benza RPG.
Alexander is also recognized for his standout performances as Owen Scott in Little Nights, Little Love and John in 1446: An Eternal Minute.Beyond film and TV, Alexander has appeared on popular shows like Omotenashi No Kiso Eigo and Motto Tsutawaru Sokuresu Eikaiwa on NHKE. His versatile career spans commercials, fitness promos, music videos, and voice acting. Some of his notable voice over work includes voicing Ultraman Ken in the English adaptation of Ultraman, Yasuke (Netflix animated series), Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance (Netflix animated series), Tokyo’s Ten-Q Space Museum English audio tour guide, as well as advertisements and PR videos for LG, Panasonic, Jim Beam, Toshiba, Sony, and Hot Wheels. He also works as a model and does motion capture for video games.
