Charlotte Chimes is an Australian actress, producer, and writer, best known for her role as Nicolette Stone in Neighbours, a performance that earned her a Best Daytime Star nomination. She will next appear as Esther in the US comedy series Good Cop Bad Cop, created by John Quaintance, and recently starred in the horror feature The Serpent’s Nest (dir. Alice Miao Mackay, edited by Emmy Award-winner Vera Drew), the comedy Haven’t You Heard? Everybody Hates Me, and the upcoming dystopian thriller Bunny. Expanding into production, Charlotte produced the thriller short Locked In, set in the world of high-end hospitality, which premiered at Oscar-qualifying Flickerfest in January – further solidifying her multifaceted role in the industry. Her short film Six Months, which she wrote, produced, and starred in, also premiered at Flickerfest and won awards at the Venice Beach Indie Shorts Festival LA and Stockholm City Film Festival. On stage, Charlotte made her theatre debut in Brave New Word Theatre Co’s We Are The Himalayas, earning rave reviews and an extended season, and later created Yahoo Lifestyle’s commissioned sketch series Lala in Lockdown, which she wrote, directed, produced, and starred in. With a growing slate of projects, Charlotte continues to establish herself as a versatile and compelling creative force in the industry.
