Everyone wants a smarter friend.
The go-to-guy that understands how to fill in forms or that much smarter mate to help work out the instructions on the Ikea manual or connecting the wifi. Everyone has his number and with a quick call he can find the answer.

His instructions come gently and his advice is strong and right. Without getting up from the couch, he can take one look at the specs and tell you the way you’re doing it is wrong ….but your nearly there. So as the camera turns to that lanky reclining figure we say hello to Sep Caton.

Sep is that big brother and a vocal protector. He is a wiser smarter younger consultant, happy to give advice without giving you a serve of ridicule. So, how can we use him in the advertising landscape? Sep is ideal for tutorials that slowly take you thru new systems and procedures. He’s one of the crowd when talking about new workplace health and safety and the experienced travellor of out of way, off the track, left of centre destinations.

Sep sounds tall. He’s awkward at the dinner party with the inlaws. He has neatly tucked the notes about what spoon or fork to use into his coat pocket. I’m not saying Sep is a suburban catastrophe, but if you leave that mop and bucket out, he’ll either trip over it or hit himself with it.

There are plenty of young cheerful fellas and girls on the voice over bus, but Sep Caton is the one they call when they need directions to get home safely.
