Julie Nihill

There’s a crinkle in her voice that makes listening to her well worthwhile.  When I listen to Julie I smell wood fired smoke, crispy bacon…… and a welcome slice of toast on a winter morning.  What age is she? I’m not too sure. But she’s a care-giver to the young and the elderly.  She has perfected the whispered art of good advice that only mothers, favourite aunts and returned friends from overseas can give.  Do you want the truth? I only did it because Julie said she had done it and that was good enough for me.  Some Mums in radio advertising sound overly glamorous. Blonde hair and 4-wheel drives.  I’m happy to say Julie is the real deal. Wrinkles, tea towels, station wagons, kids washing…….its all there in her voice.  A gentle hand to rub in the Vicks, a steady spoon to serve the cough mixture and the knowing “you’ll be better in the morning luv”.  The environment has a friend in the suburbs to make sure we compost, save water and cut down our litter.  Julie is like walking on green grass with bare feet.
